The customer requested that the birthday cake match the tableware that her daughter had selected for her Sweet 16 birthday party. I tried a new technique by using devil's food and white cake to create the zebra "stripes" inside the bottom layer. I thought it made a really cute addition to the outside stripes. There center of the top looks a little bare because the customer had blinged out a number 16 to top it with after I delivered the cake.
